Amazon Fire TV is a line of digital media players developed by Amazon. Fire TV devices are similar to other streaming media players, such as Apple TV and Chromecast, and allow users to stream audio and video from a variety of online services, such as Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube and Teyuto, to a compatible TV or monitor. Fire TV devices come in a variety of form factors, including a dongle, a set-top box, and a built-in feature in some TVs and soundbars. Fire TV devices are controlled using a remote or the Fire TV mobile app, and include a voice-controlled virtual assistant, Alexa, which can be used to search for content, control smart home devices, and perform other tasks.
