Miracast

Miracast is a wireless display standard that allows devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops, to stream audio and video to a compatible receiver, such as a TV or monitor. Miracast uses Wi-Fi Direct, a technology that allows devices to communicate directly with each other without an access point, to transmit the audio and video data, and can support high-quality, low-latency video streams. Miracast is supported by many popular devices, including Android smartphones and tablets, and can be used to share photos, videos, and other content on a larger display. However, Miracast is not as widely supported as other streaming technologies, such as AirPlay and Chromecast, and may require the use of a Miracast adapter or dongle to work with some TVs and monitors.
